An Inhumans project has been a long time coming from Marvel Studios ever since the movie was announced for Phase 3 of their Cinematic Universe. Since then, the movie has been put on the back-burner and a new innovative series is in development for IMAX and ABC.

Marvel’s The Inhumans will be an eight episode season, with the first two episodes premiering in select theaters, shot entirely in IMAX. The series was announced to air in September, but news went quiet after Iron Fist’s Scott Buck was hired as showrunner.

Well, Production Weekly are now reporting that Marvel and ABC will begin work on The Inhumans in March, filming in both Los Angeles and Chicago. We still know absolutely nothing about the cast, the characters or the story, but we’d expect some news to trickle through any time soon. Marvel need to start casting actors and actresses very quickly, and news will break as soon as it happens!

The first episode of Marvel’s The Inhumans premieres on ABC on September 26.
