Principal photography leads to new casting announcements – we can’t complain! Spider-Man: Homecoming starts filming in Atlanta this week, which means more and more cast members will be appearing as needed. We know the movie will partly take place at Peter’s high school so plenty of young actors are being called upon.

This leads us nicely to report that Isabella Amara, Jorge Lendeborg Jr., and JJ Totah have all joined the cast of the movie, according to THR. They’re all well within the age range needed to play a friend of Peter’s at school, especially with Totah only been 14 years old. There’s no word on whether they’re playing characters of significance yet but any Spidey news is exciting!

These three youngsters join an already stacked cast including Tom Holland, Marissa Tomei, Michael Keaton, Kenneth Choi, Tony Revolori, Zendaya, Michael Barbieri, Logan Marshall-Green, Martin Starr and Robert Downey Jr.

Spider-Man: Homecoming swings into UK cinemas on July 7th, 2017.
