After a miserable weekend at the box office with Alice Through The Looking Glass, Disney aren’t holding back with their future movies. So in a galaxy not so far, far away, they’re not too happy with how Rogue One: A Star Wars Story has turned out so far.

The director Gareth Edwards’ first cut of the movie didn’t impress them to the point where they’re going to spend time re-shooting. These expensive re-shoots will take place in the four weeks of July in hopes to salvage the movie and get up to par with the standards set by Star Wars: A Force Awakens.

We’re not sure what Disney didn’t like about the movie, but Page Six have said this is definitely happening. It’s fallen short of their standards, and even though it’s said to be a darker chapter in the Star Wars universe, they will still expect it to gross millions and millions, much like every other instalment in the franchise.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is (currently) set to infiltrate UK cinemas on December 16th, 2016. Check out our movie schedule for more release dates!
