That’s right, Jesse Eisenberg is set to reprise his role as the DCEU’s Lex Luthor in the upcoming movie, Justice League. His role in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was certainly a topic of discussion and criticism from many of those who watched the gigantic clash, so this is sure to keep those tongues wagging.
We know Steppenwolf is set to be the big bad of the upcoming ensemble flick, so Luthor’s involvement is definitely unknown as of yet. The confirmation of Eisenberg’s return came in the form of Warner Bros. detailing the movie:

Action Adventure. Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
It’s worth noting that Diane Lane is listed as part of the cast, so expect more family drama! Interestingly, these details also confirm Connie Nielson will reprise her role that she’ll debut in the Wonder Woman movie.
