We won’t be getting the Green Lantern Corps movie until 2020, but the movie has two writers on board.

Warner Bros. have revealed that David S. Goyer and Justin Rhodes will be penning the cosmic adventure. Goyer has been attached to numerous DC franchises before (Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy, for example) and is currently developing a Superman prequel series called Krypton. Whereas Justin Rhodes is relatively new to the game.

Warner Bros. also announced that the movie will feature Hal Jordan and John Stewart in something resembling “Lethal Weapon in space”. Just that small description alone gives us some hope that the company might actually get this adaptation of the comics right.
