As if the Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite announcement wasn’t already exciting enough, the two companies have patched things up in terms of the third game in the franchise: Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3.

The game will be available as a digital download on the PlayStation 4 later today, though there’s no price stated as of yet. The game has been absent from both the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live since late 2013, so fans of the game should be excited that they can play it again in preparation for the fourth instalment!

The game was first released in 2011 and, of course, features rosters built from Marvel and Capcom’s respective universes. The game is full of Marvel’s mutants, but recent rumours suggest Infinite will disregard mutants in favour of Marvel’s Cinematic Universe characters.

Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 will return to Xbox and Windows PC in March 2017, but you can probably grab it on PlayStation 4 right now!
