Enraged at the loss of his friend, Tony Stark, the invincible Iron Man, invaded New Attilan and kidnapped Ulysses in hopes of learning how the young Inhuman’s powers work. Queen Medusa quickly mobilized her people to rescue their brother, but chose to spare Stark from further retaliation.

Finding Medusa’s mercy weak, a fringe of Inhumans struck out at Stark, Stark Tower and another Stark facility in Switzerland, making it seem like Medusa was responsible. And Tony has taken these attacks very personally. He called upon his Iron Legion, and it was great.

Tony’s dark personal state feels very in-character in this issue, discussing how he doesn’t always have to win but he can’t let bad guy wins. It’s pretty spot on. It’s hard not to see the Inhumans as the bad guys at the moment, he wants Medusa to be held accountable for killing people.

Overall, this is a good issue. There was plenty of action, plenty of think-pieces, and tonnes of excitement. Tension was at a high, and the artwork was pretty spot on too. We don’t know what’ll happen next, and that’s a good thing.

8.3 Great

Tony Stark doesn't take kindly to the Uncanny Inhumans attacking his possessions, but it's not all about him.
