We’ve still got a little while to go before the upcoming Power Rangers reboot, but we know that BOOM! Studios will be helming the comic book follow up. The comic, titled ‘Aftershock’ will be released on March 29th, just five days after the film hits cinemas.
Whilst not much is known about the comic, presumably to avoid spoilers from the movie – ‘Aftershock’ implies some sort of tragedy. We’re guessing it’ll see the team attempt to reassemble things after the events of the reboot. Ryan Parrott will be writing the comic, and artist Lucas Werneck is handling the visual side of things. The comic itself spans 96 pages, so it’s not exactly the size of a normal singular issue. Check out our thoughts on the current (but not connected) Power Rangers series from BOOM! Studios.
